Folding bike servicing, at your door
Brompton, Dahon, Tern, Birdy or Decathlon folding bike. Our mechanic comes to your home or office, anywhere in Singapore. From SGD 59, and we reply within 5 minutes during business hours.

Your folding serviced where you park it
Hinges, clamps, cables that kink around the fold, hub gear indexing and small wheels that spin more times per kilometre than anything else on the road. All of it checked in front of you, at your block.

Folding bikes we have serviced at home addresses across Singapore. Hinges, cables, small wheels and the fold itself.

What goes wrong on a folding bike
A folder is not a small road bike. It wears differently, and it wears faster.
Hinges and clamps
The frame and stem hinges take every bump twice. Clamps work loose, the bike develops play, and a folder with a loose hinge feels wrong long before it becomes unsafe.
Cables
Folders route cables around a fold. They kink, they stretch, and the gears go vague. On a Brompton the rear triangle adds another bend to work through.
Small wheels, hard life
A 16 or 20 inch wheel spins far more times than a 700c for the same distance. Rims, tyres and the drivetrain all wear through quicker.
Tyres and punctures
Small tyres run high pressure and pick up glass off kerbs. A bike that lives indoors still goes flat.
Hub gears
Many folders run internal hubs. They need the cable indexed properly rather than guessed at, which is where most vague shifting comes from.
The fold itself
If it no longer folds cleanly, something is bent, worn or out of adjustment. Usually a short fix once you know which one.
Bikes that need the hubs stripped, or a frame checked after a knock, are a bench job rather than a doorstep one. That is Bike Hero Pro.
Pricing
Three packages. The price includes the mechanic coming to you. No transport fee, no call-out fee, nothing added at the end.

How folding bikes get used in Singapore
This is why yours needs looking at more often than the shop told you.
The commute is the whole point
Folded, it goes on the MRT and the bus. That is why the folder is the Singapore commuter's bike, and it also means yours gets ridden every working day rather than every other weekend.
Stored indoors, ridden outdoors
It lives in a flat or under a desk and rides through the rain. Warm and damp, then air conditioned, over and over. Cables and chains corrode from the inside out.
Kerbs, not trails
City riding is stop, start, drop off a kerb, repeat. Small wheels take that harder than big ones, so spokes and wheels want checking sooner than most owners expect.
Park connectors on the weekend
The same bike that did 4km to the office does 30km along the coast on Sunday. That is real mileage on a drivetrain the size of a folder's.
We cover all of Singapore
Every neighbourhood, north to south. Book from anywhere on the island and a mechanic comes to your address. There is no branch to be near, because there is no branch.
Why people trust us with their bike
Folding bike questions we get
Do you service Brompton?
Yes, along with Dahon, Tern, Birdy, Java and the rest. To be clear, we are not a Brompton dealer and we do not claim to be one. If your bike is in warranty and needs a warranty repair, take it to the dealer. For servicing, wear and everyday repairs, we come to you.
The fold has gone stiff or sloppy. Can you fix that?
Usually on the spot. Most of the time it is a hinge clamp, a worn bush or a pivot that has never been greased. If something is actually bent, we will tell you rather than adjust around it.
Do you carry small wheel parts?
Tubes and tyres in 16 and 20 inch, brake pads, cables and housing, yes, we carry those with us. Tell us what the bike is doing when you book, or send a photo, and we bring anything less common with us so the job is finished in one visit.
Mine has internal hub gears. Can you index them?
Yes. Hub gears are mostly a cable adjustment done properly, which is a doorstep job. A hub that needs opening up is not, and we would take that to the workshop.
Where do you actually work?
A void deck, a car park, the bike bay in your condo, or the space outside your lift lobby. We need a flat spot and a couple of metres.
What if it needs a workshop?
The mechanic tells you there and then, and we offer Bike Hero Pro instead. We collect the bike, do the full strip-down at our workshop and return it to your door.
